Final Digipak

This is the digipak that I have created. This is what was being promoted from the album advert. I have the band in the front cover. They are the most dominant. The album name is much bigger than the  band name as steretypically, indie artist would much rather have their music sold than their star image. Inside of the digipak, on every page there is a picture that the band is united much like other indies as they share the spotlight here. There images is like the image on the album advert. Even though they are all presented their images are sort of distorted. As well as that I have also included the tracklist on the back page. It has all the names of thet tracks, there is the barcode, record label companyies and there is also the production credits, which is essential to a digipak. On the spine there is also the name of the band and album. The colours are mainly black and white that attracts the audience are most are 'minimalist'. There is a hint of blue, which makes the digipak more appealing to the audeince as it bringing more 'light' since the theme of freedom and blue connotes freedom.

Final Album Advert

This is my final album advert that I have created. I have used all the necessary conventions i order to promote the band'd debut album. I have used photoshop in order to create my overlay effect to create a 3D effect for the main image.  I have also included conventions of an album advert by puting in the band name and album, recording label, the band website, release date, key singles and ratings from relevant magazines such as 'SPIN' and 'NME" as they promote the 'indie genre'.
The band name and album name in different fonts so that the audeince can distinguish the names.  I have also added a feature that allows the album to be availble to buy in 'itunes'. As we are in a digital era it would be much more promoted online than it is when it is a physical copy. In order to attract the audience I have used the 'key singles' for the song pumpin blood as I have created a music video for that specific song.

Edited images

sam sasi's Slidely by Slidely Slideshow

I have used 'slidely' to present the images that I edited in order for digipak. they are just a few images that I had in mind for my digipak and for my album advert. All the images have an element of on overlay effect as that it was what I wanted to keep. I have edited in photoshop using a variety of images to create this overlay effect.

Album Advert Moodboard

I used 'thinglink' to present my moodboard in order to show some of the ways I would like to have my album advert presented. I chose different angles of images but most of them are close-up shots so that the album advert can draw the audience through direct mode of address. Also, most of the close up shots are either sharp or they have a 3D effect to make it more artistic as most indie genres have an artwork as their album advert to promote their album rather than their star image. One image in particular (top right hand corner) shows the band in unity by putting their faces into a collage to highlight the band being unified.  All the other images are either a scenery shots or are shots that highlight the name of the artist/band.
