This is my mock up/1st draft of my album advert, which shows how I would like my own album advert to look like. The image on my album advert will be of the band and will have a 3D effect that has been influenced by other album adverts. This show all the conventions of an album advert.

This is a mock up/1st draft of my digipak, I have included the images that best suit my digipak and go along with the images from my contact sheet. I have added the blue so that it stands out from the rest of the black and white images and shall continue on using the colour blue. This is close enough to how I want to my final digipak to look like.

Music Video Feedback
This is the audience feedback from my final music video. we recieved positve feedback from our peers and we have achieved to get across the narrative of our video. The theme of our music video is cleary seen and from our feedback it shows that we were successful in doing so. One of our questions was 'Would you make any improvements to our msuic video?' and the response we got was to make the two band members have a bigger role in the music video because it was as if they were 'bystanders', however, as my group and I were planning we discussed that the band will have one main singer and the other two will be the ones who play the instruments, they make up the song, which shows that they are harldy left as 'bystanders'. Overall, we got positive feedback on our final music video.

Final Music Video
This is the final music video, were my group and I have used our feedback in order to improve it from the 1st draft. We have added more scenes with the band in order to enhance the theme of youth and freedom. We added more editing techniques so that the video cuts to the beat in order to make it more lively.

Music Video Inspiration
We have used this music video as inspiration from the editing as the visuals are in sync with the beat and there is variety of different techniques that have been used, which is what we have tried to incorporate into our music video. The editing of this music video is exciting for its intended audience and so we have tried to portray that in our music video as it makes it appealing for the audience.
We have used another music video for inspiration - Ben Howard, I forget where we were. This is a still music video and they have a soft shot of the scenery at the beach, which is one of our main locations. The location portrays a place where good things happens and where is a place of peace. We have used this specific location as its a peaceful location and since we have a theme of youth, its all about friendship and the beach creates those memories.
Beyonce's music video is all about fun as the artist is at a theme park with friends ad the fact that she is going on all the rides is portrays a fun and lively atmosphere, which yet again is what my music video is trying to portray. When we fisrt watched it, it gave us that initial thought that a funfair would be key to portray an exciting atmosphere.
This is also another video where we saw the projection onto the artist and it made the music video look much more appealing and so in our own music video we projected scenes of travelling unto the singer and the band.
The artist Ben Howard has been had a major influence in the music video as nearly all his music videos are exciting or are peaceful.

2nd draft of music video
This is the second draft of the music video, where my group and I changed aome clips and added new clips as a result of our feedback. From our feedback we changed the clips to be more about the band rather than the main singer especially in the chorus. We have also completed our editing in the last scenes of the music video just like we said in our rough cut.

Vlogs (behind the scenes)
This is our video log, when we went to film at Heathrow airport.
What went well?
What went well?
We were able to get the bands style image as we had already planned out their costume so that it will look appropriate for our genre and for or narrative theme. We also got various footage and shot/angles of the band including footage that was not planned in order to have a variety of shots for when we have to edit our music video.
What didn't go so well?
Unfortunately, as we were at the airport there was a problem with privacy and so tried not to have people in the shot whilst we were filming. However, this was difficult to do as there was many people in our shot.
This video log is from when my group and I went to shoot for one of our fisrt scenes for the music video; Liverpool St and Canary Wharf.
What went well?
Fortunately, we were able to get all the footage we wanted and got all the shots we needed for the editing process of the music video.
What didn't go so well?
Some problems did arise, as in Liverpool Street the tripod we used was not working properly as it was unsteady, which meant that we had to hold the tripod and hold the camera for ourselves.
This is the behind the scenes at the beach for the verses and for some of the chorus for the music videos.
What went well?
We were able to go to our location when it was sunny, which is what we wanted. We brought with us all our equipment that we had planned to use and used it effectively. We were also able to get some good shots for the main verses of our music video.
What didn't go so well?
However, we only had limited time to film as we had to get back to school as it was the only day we were able to shoot as we each have different timetables. Another issue was that we did not focus entirely on the footage whilst we were filming and later realised that some shots were darker than others. As well as this the colour smoke bombs did not work at one point making it quite unreliable, which became a waste and limited the time we had there.
The behind the scenes footage features the shots that we wanted for the chorus of our chosen song.
What went well?
The studio was what we wanted as it had the white wall that was made out of bricks that was trendy for our genre-indie. We had all our equipemnt and the projector was easy to use and we had no hassle with it. We had a variety of shot/angles from low angle shot to extreme close up shots.
What didn't go so well?
As we only had 2 hours to film, we were put under pressure to ry get as much footage as we could we only focused on the main singer rather than the whole band, which is what the indie genre is about.
This video log features the behind the scenes of our screen test that was straightforward. We had no problems when filming this as we were just testing to see our artist lip sync in different angles.
This footage is showing when my group and I went to film at a amusement park in order for our music video project the theme of youth.
What went well?
The amusement park had all the lighting we needed as it was bright and colourful, which is what we needed to highlight the theme youth and to use that lighting to make the band look like they are having fun. Another reason for it going well was that the park was not full and so we had better footage as there was not a lot of poeple getting in the way.We got much footage from the bumper scenee. It was fun to do and made us even more enthusiastic to film, which is what is seen in the footage.
What didn't go so well?
Some of the rides were far too much expensive that only allowed us to go on one(bumper cars)we had to use that time wisely. When on the bumpercars, everytime we got hit the camera would shake hence not giving us steady footage, however it made it look more relaxed and more as if it was the band truly having fun than it being strictly planned out.
